Walking

There is a comprehensive network of Public Rights of Way, Permissive footpaths and Open Access areas that allow you to explore the coast and Estate. Walking is very popular as there are ample parking facilities, circular routes of varied ease and beautiful changing scenery. Remember to shut gates behind you and keep your dog on a lead where livestock are present.

Walk Guides and maps are available from Lulworth Heritage Centre, Durdle Door Holiday Park and Lulworth Courtyard Shop. (see publications) . For more information on the Public rights of way and permissive routes operated by the Lulworth Estate, click here.

Caution: Please take great care when walking or watching wildlife by the cliffs - some are crumbling and very dangerous. Be aware that some wildlife can be potentially harmful including adders and hairy caterpillars.
