'Circus Skills' Children's Half Term Fun - Sunday 14th - Friday 19th February

No need to run away to the Circus just come to Lulworth Castle for our Circus Skills Workshop! Have a go at juggling, plate spinning, fun stilts and lots more. We are delighted to welcome back the effervescent "Fiery Jack" to host this family fun circus skills extravaganza with his own unique juggling talent.

Open 10.30am to 4pm. Event included in normal admission price.

Wedding Fair - Sunday 21st February

The Castle and Castle Lawn Marquee will play host to a wonderful selection of wedding suppliers from cars to caterers, entertainment to photographers plus a planning service from the Lulworth Team; offering all prospective couples, their family and friends the opportunity to meet and discuss the exciting day at this exclusive civil marriage and partnership venue.

Open 10.30am to 4pm. Special entry price of just £4 per Adult and U16 Free.

Lulworth Castle 400th Anniversary Souvenir Coin

To mark the 400th Anniversary of Lulworth Castle, we have commissioned an exclusive souvenir coin. This gold plated medal measuring 1 3/4 " in diameter (45mm), in a silk lined presentation box, is embossed with an image of the Lulworth Castle on the front and the dates 1606 - 2006 on the reverse.

Lulworth Castle celebrates 400 Years!

Lulworth Castle recently celebrated its 400 th anniversary with an evening reception hosted by Wilfrid and Sally Weld, the owners of the Castle. Speaking about the history of the Castle, Wilfrid Weld said "The Hunting Lodge was originally built for entertaining and to encourage King James I to visit. We are delighted that 400 years later the Castle is still a wonderful setting for entertaining."

The international attendance of guests included friends and family from Ireland , America , as well as the UK , were entertained in sumptuous ancestral surroundings. The celebrations began with an evening reception followed by Beating the Retreat, performed by the band of the Royal Signals Regiment based at Blandford Camp. The highlight of the evening was a dinner for over a 100 members of the Weld family hosted by Mr and Mrs Weld.
